Our Beliefs
Non-Denominational
Collective Church is an independent Christian church in Kinston NC that is not a part of a denomination. We are supported by church planting organizations and individual churches. We are a local, autonomous 501c3 church that is led by a team of Elders and follow the Bible as our source of truth.
Elder-Led
Collective Church follows an elder-led model of church leadership. Our elder board of directors currently has 8 members made up of pastors and other ministry leaders from our partner churches and organizations. These leaders set the direction and vision of the church.
Scripture is our final authority
At Collective, we believe the Bible is the infallible, inerrant word of God; it is the foundation of all truth. Therefore, all of our beliefs and stances as a church were developed solely from scripture, not tradition or opinion. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching the truth, rebuking error, correcting faults, and giving instruction for right living
